And aren't you a great seeker of beautiful melodies? I simply cannot understand your tastes when it comes to late 50's. Thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-660808341284783109.post-8836613221526587382012-09-28T06:17:02.961+04:002012-09-28T06:17:02.961+04:00Ahhh...makes sense. Each day of the week has a time period associated with it (Monday is 1950s and earlier, Tuesday is the early 60s, Wednesday is the late 60s, etc.). Then, in each time period, George goes through the bands alphabetically. Since the Byrds first album was in 1965, they fall into the early 60s slot, but since their name starts with a "b-y", they will come after the Beatles, and Bill Fury and so on. How "far along" George is in each of these time periods depends on what bands from that period he wants to review and how many albums they have, so they all move at different rate.<br />At least, I think that's how it goes. Hope that makes more sense.Amonduulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05233032157685770300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-660808341284783109.post-29245976233761252752012-09-27T22:52:49.114+04:002012-09-27T22:52:49.114+04:00I don't quite get this time period breakdown. ...I don't quite get this time period breakdown. Surely, the Byrds should come chronologically well before the B-52's, Black Keys, or Bon Iver? Shouldn't they come just after the Beatles and Beach Boys, and before the Beau Brummels? Not that much, based on those two songs.MNbnoreply@blogger.com
